1904, First edition. A very good copy of this seminal work which is bound in the original green cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine and top board. The only wear on the boards is very superficial edge rubbing. The edges and endpapers are lightly age tanned. Apart from several small previous owner (Castlemaine School of Mines) stamps scattered throughout the text the contents are fine and unmarked. The binding is excellent. A really excellent copy.
