The late Mary Durack is one of the great chroniclers of the West and Australia's past. This is an anthology of Mary Durack's short fiction and verse - some of it never previously published. In the early 1990s before her death, Mary started work on this collection and drafted a proposed introduction. Her daughter continued this project.
