Coi Tipi Della S. Congreg. de Propaganda Fide, 1851. First edition. A near fine copy of this seminal work of Western Australian history. Bound in original papered boards with 1/2 vellum. The spine has a red leather title panel and gilt lettering and decoration. Light rubbing only to the boards and vellum. Light age tanning of the edges, endpapers and the folding map. Apart from a previous owners bookplate on the front pastedown the contents are very fine and unmarked. This copy comes housed in a custom made clam shell box. A really superb copy. Text in Italian.
