1823, Third edition. A 2 volume set bound in full brown leather with decorative edges and gilt lining to the top and bottom boards. The spines have 4 raised bands and 2 red leather title panels with gilt lettering. The boards are in very good condition with light rubbing only. Marbled edges. Apart from light tanning to the prelims the contents of both volumes are very fine with no markings and lovely bright pages. The bindings are excellent. A really superior copy of this classic work.
