Longmans,Green and Co, 1888, This copy is identified as the New Edition which was issued the year after the first. Bound in red cloth boards with silver lettering to the cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition for the age. There is a slight cock and sunfading to the spine and the expected signs of shelf wear to the edges and boards. The text block has some minor browning and foxing to the edges and pages but overall the pages are unmarked and clean. The only mark to the pages is a stamped number 9 to the dedication page which appears to be a publishers mark. Overall a very tight and tidy copy. Scans available if required.
