How many times have you tried to remember a word because it says exactly what you mean, but it won't come to mind. Here's the answer to finding it - Reader's Digest Reverse Dictionary. For example ... you want to know the name of one of those pointed "things" that hangs from the roof of a cave. Just look up cave in the book and you'll find - icicle-like deposit hanging from the roof of a cave - stalactite. Or you are trying to find out what the ring of water surrounding a castle is called. Look up castle and you'll find a full-colour illustration of one with all its features clearly labelled, the answer is then obvious: "a moat". When you know the definition but you need to find the word it defines, turn to the Reverse Dictionary.
