1882. Reprint. A 3 volume set in navy full leather fine bindings. The boards are lined in gilt and the front boards have the gilt emblem of The City of London Freemen's Orphan School. The spines have 5 raised bands, 2 title panels in brown leather and ornate gilt decoration. The boards are in lovely condition with only light rubbing at the extremities. The edges and endpapers are marbled and apart from light foxing to the first and last few pages of each volume the contents are pristine. The bindings are also perfect. A superb set.
