Bradbury and Evans, 1848. First edition. A very fine copy bound in a superb contemporary full leather binding. The leather is dark green with elaborate tooling in gilt to the spine and both front and rear panels. Five raised bands to the spine. Full gilt to all the edges. Marbled endpapers. Apart from a contemporary owners bookplate to the front paste down and his name to the first blank page the contents are pristine. This is an absolutely stunning item. Scans available if required.
