1959. First edition. This is a good condition true first edition copy of the authors very scarce first book. The light blue boards are lightly rubbed at the spine ends. The edges are lightly browned and foxed and there is light foxing to the early and later pages and previous ownership marks and tape marks to the endpapers. Otherwise this is a nice clean copy in a straight, strong binding. The d/w is lovely and bright but with some edge wear and repaired short tears. Now in a protective cover.
