W.Swan Sonnenschein and Allen, 1881. First edition. A near fine copy in brown boards with black lettering and decoration to the front board and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are clean and bright and only marked by minor edge rubbing. Light age tanning to the edges. The front pastedown has the bookplate of Thomas Cope of Osbaston who was the High Sheriff of Leicestershire. The front free endpaper has a bookseller sticker. Apart from Thomas Copes signature to the half title page the contents are fine and unmarked. A stunning copy. Scans available if required.
