Longmans, Green & Co. 1897, FIRST edition in very good condition. Green boards with gilt illustration and lettering. The boards are stained and grubby in parts but not unduly so for the age of the book. The front and rear hinges are worn but holding securely. There is some scattered foxing to the pages but they are generally clean and bright. The tissue dividers are intact but browned. Overall a very sound copy of this very rare book.
